Lou Reed's Solo Albums
In this AI enhanced podsperience (you can tell it's going well straight away) we start our new season with an appreciation of Lou Reed. Beloved by many musicians, given massive lee way by the labels, and in tabloid terms known as the bloke from The Velvets, we pick up where The Velvet Underground left off, and discuss Lou's solo albums.
As we do, we touch on mental health, addiction, Drella, fame and obscurity.
Lou was a unique individual and musician, and we can confidently say he created a lasting creative legacy.
Just a shame he punched David in the face, and not Andy.
Apologies if you heard our previous glitchy version. Kevin is sending Dave on a glitch awareness course.

5282 Second Day of Christmas (2025)
For our second day of Christmas, Kevin interviews traditional folk multi instrumentalist duo The KImberleys. We recorded in the bar at Crank Studios, Morley, before they performed 'Christmas with The Kimberleys', supported by experimental folk harpist Lauren Moreau.
So there's lot's of 'atmosphere', but we did edit out the coffee machine.

5282 First Day of Christmas (2025)
Jon Gomm releases his first ever Christmas Single. Then, as partridges, swans and milking maids are old hat, we're bringing you Rob's Christmas horror film recommendations, with something for all tastes, and Phil's Christmas Noir, featuring hard bitten Santas and glamourous elves. I think.
We have another five days of Christmas to come, which is good news if you have looked at the TV listings and thought "How do they get away with it?".

Christmas 2025 Trailer
Two attempts and we still got it wrong. Because this coming Christmas we have FIVE* (not four as Kevin says) bonus episodes. It's more or less a mini series, but not featuring Joan Collins or Richard Chamberlain.
On the 22nd, we have Christmas with The Kimberleys. Jim and Isobel are a folk duo and they are playing three gigs in December. Kevin will be interviewing them at their Morley Folk Club gig on 16th, details in link below.
Then on the 24th, 26th and 28th we will have a three part Dr Who feature, in which Kevin interviews Whovian Chris Hoyle.
We finish 2025 with our review of the year featuring Mel, Rob and Phil. (* Dave is already starting to think that it's going to be a two parter).
So thanks for supporting us and watch for these upcoming episodes.
Finally Dave would like to thank Andrew Hunter Murray for the gag.
